Babies grow and change in an instant! From those snuggly first weeks to their gummy 4 month smiles and onward to their very first birthday, time absolutely flies. Let's document their sweet & miraculous growth along the way and freeze time, if just for a moment! I melt during every single newborn session & couldn't love the tender sweetness of newborns more than I do. I give those sessions the time & space they need, allowing time for diaper changes, feedings, or for Mom to take an extra moment to finish getting ready (we all know she gets everyone else ready before herself, hah!). My goal is for you to really enjoy the moment and for us to capture the essence of your baby, from their connection with you down to those tiny toes and the most precious details.

There is no one-size-fits-all definition to the word "family". Love knows no bounds, and home truly is where your people are. Whether your family is big or small, whether you have little tinys or not-so-little-ones that have grown up too fast, however your family was built- your family is wonderfully yours and is worth celebrating!
These days, digital is the most widely used technology for photography. It certainly has its benefits! But analog film photography (think rolls of film that get developed in a dark room or that Y2K disposable film camera you dropped off at the Walmart photo center!) is not antiquated, it’s actually still a popular medium used among photographers! There is something very special and irreplaceable about film photography. The way the different film stocks render certain colors, the nostalgia of the grain, the fact that you can’t simply look at a screen on the camera to see how the pictures turned out. Receiving final scans back from the film lab and seeing what you captured feels like Christmas morning! No digital photo can truly can replace the experience of film.
This page of my portfolio is a blend of sessions that are all outside of the motherhood, newborn, families, and couples photography that I primarily offer, but these sessions are special to me and I enjoy sharing them nonetheless! Before our session, I will giddily respond to your inquiry submission within 24-48 hours! Prompt communication is very important to me (and I know it's important to you, too!). You and I will discuss your vision, scheduling, & desired location for the photoshoot and I'll learn more about what makes you & your family special. We'll get to know one another to make sure we're the right fit! Once all of the above is established, I will send you a contract and invoice to secure your date. I will continue to be in contact before your session, watching the weather if applicable, ensuring you feel prepared, and taking care of logistics so that you have nothing to worry about the day of our session!
During our session, expect to have a blast! I aim to create a relaxed, natural experience that you walk away from feeling like you're on cloud 9. During Newborn sessions, we take the pressure off- whatever you & baby need and however much time we need to do it in, I'm your girl! I am here to support YOU (and melt over your precious, tiny miracle). For motherhood & family, I aim to make the magic of all that you are come alive. For couples sessions, I am your romance HYPE woman!! My style is light, meaningful, candid, and full of love. Don't be surprised if I bust out the polaroid for some instant photos or a speaker to play your favorite music & set the tone for our photoshoot. I hope to make you feel celebrated, beautiful, and a bit nostalgic when you get those photos back!
After our session, I dive into editing your photos! If we included film photos in your session, I will send the film off to the lab immediately to be professionally developed and digitally scanned. At the same time, I will begin editing your digital photos. I am meticulous while editing, putting in many hours and lots of attention to detail to ensure you receive photos that are up to my standard. Last but not least, of course, is the delivery of your photos!! You will receive your full online gallery within 2-3 weeks for standard sessions. On this happy day, I will send you a link to a downloadable gallery filled to the brim with joy, sweetness, and whole lotta love.
