My name is Sarah and I live just west of Atlanta, Georgia. I am a wife, mother, ICU nurse, and daughter of God who is called to love all people. I have too many houseplants and enjoy working in the yard. I love singing and making music, reading, and many of the best nerd things (my baby's nursery is Hobbiton-themed and it's honestly the best). I love traveling and have been to 32 states and 12 countries on 4 continents. I still regularly listen to pop punk and emo music (lol!). Ya girl is a Hufflepuff, an enneagram type 1 wing 9, yellow is my favorite color, and spring is my favorite season. I have 2 rescue dogs and was blessed to have the greatest quarter horse who ever lived for 19 wonderful years before she gained her wings in 2024. I grew up in Metro Atlanta and went to Georgia College & State University, go Bobcats!
I became a mother to my son in 2022 and again to babies who are alive in our hearts and whom we anxiously await meeting in heaven. Ever since becoming a mom, my heart has grown in so many ways- it has expanded with boundless love for my son and boundless aching for my angel babies, and it swells when I think about how incredible the journey to becoming a mother is. All around us, there are women (and the wonderful men beside them) who have experienced these unfathomable heartaches, mountaintop joys, and everything in between on their way to becoming a parent. Every mama and hopeful mama-to-be has a story to tell that has so much beneath the surface of her. Mothers are resilient, beautifully nurturing, and strong as hell. I feel so passionate about precious miracle babies and the journey to motherhood, which is why my area of photography surrounds motherhood, newborns, & families.
I enjoy taking photos on both digital & 35mm film- I'm particularly partial to film, it is so timeless and speaks right to the heart! I got my first DSLR camera on a whim in 2016 and my first film camera in 2020, both have truly some of the best decisions I've ever made. Since then, I have been able to capture so many moments for myself and for others in a way that brings me incredible joy to look back on. Please reach out if you're interested in documenting your most special & cherished moments!
